Chris is an Operating Partner at Unusual Ventures - seed-stage VC firm with 1.2B under management and offices in Menlo Park, San Francisco and Boston - where he works alongside early-stage founders to build foundational, high-performing teams. Before joining Unusual Ventures (2020), he led Talent Acquisition at Fleetsmith (acquired by Apple), Wealthfront (currently valued at 1.4B), and was fortunate to have enjoyed early career experiences at Dropbox, Google and Wildfire. He's a self-professed zealot for the startup journey, and believes in its potential to yield transformative experiences both personally and professionally. He lives in San Francisco, where he spends most of his free time with his favourite people in the world - his nieces and nephews Becca, Maddie and Elias. He holds a BA in English Literature from The College of William and Mary.
