Ben is a startup talent leader with over 10 years experience of hiring for early stage businesses. He has served as a Talent Director at Talentful, having joined when the business was four people, and helped them scale to 200+ in four locations. Whilst at Talentful, Ben has specialised in the tech startup space, and has helped to scale Depop, Gram Games, Tractable, Zopa and Spotahome.

Louise Burgess, Director of Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding at SoSafe

Louise has ten years of experience working in high growth companies in a variety of sectors including SaaS, AdTech, and Cloud Consulting across North America, EMEA and APAC. She has worked with 4 different founder-led businesses and been part of two exits. As well as talent acquisition, she has designed and rolled out onboarding programs, benefit plans, compensation benchmarking and implemented repeatable, scalable processes including implementing tooling such as Greenhouse and Gem.

Jocelyn S. Lai, Global Head of Talent Acquisition & Talent Brand at Duolingo

Jocelyn is the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and Talent Brand at Duolingo. She grew up through the advertising and marketing industry (JCPenney, T3, GSD&M, R/GA, Droga5) and has spent the past four years in consumer tech, where she helped Duolingo scale from a private company of 100 employees to a public company of 750+ employees.

Jocelyn is a regular public speaker and has been recognized by the American Advertising Federation, American Association of Advertising Agencies, Association of National Advertisers, The Wall Street Journal, and SXSW for her achievements.
