Jerome Leclercq - Global Head of Recruitment and Employer Branding at Wise

Jerome Leclercq joined Wise in September 2022 as its Global Head of Recruitment and Employer Branding where his focus has been on embedding scalable hiring practices that deliver on the business’ growth ambitions in a thoughtful and sustainable way.

Before Wise, he was VP of Talent at GoCardless, a global leader in account-to-account payments. Prior to joining the FinTech world Jerome spent over 8 years at LinkedIn scaling its EMEA enterprise operations as a Recruitment leader, as well as a 3 year stint in Product Marketing helping to bring to market products such as LinkedIn Talent Insights and LinkedIn Talent Hub.

Jerome is passionate about the recruitment space and the impact the profession can have on people’s life trajectories. He is a proud father of two and occasionally finds time to follow his beloved football club Arsenal FC.

Samantha Perlman - Head of Talent at OneSignal

Sam is the Head of Talent at OneSignal, and is a people-focused and results and impact-driven leader. She’s passionate about candidate experience, talent development, DE&I, and overall process efficiency. Throughout her career, she’s focused on building and leading high-performing talent teams and helping tech companies like Fastly, Airbnb, and Venmo build for scale, putting sustainable processes in place to hire and retain top talent. She’s also particularly familiar with the startup and incubator/accelerator scene, having gone through Stanford’s accelerator, StartX, and YC’s fellowship with her own startup.

As a former New Yorker turned San Franciscan, she also rock climbs, snowboards, takes her dog to Fort Funston, values good coffee, and has strong opinions on bagels.

Matthias Schmeißer - Global Director, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding at emnify

Matthias is currently the Global Director, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding at emnify. As an Inclusive Talent Acquisition Leader and Change Management Enthusiast with over 13 years of experience in Talent Acquisition in different businesses from corporate companies like Zalando, and Scout24 to smaller scale-ups like Beamery and Visual Meta. His focus area are maturing hiring culture, managing the transition to skill-based hiring, building a strong employer brand, data-driven TA and moving from reactive recruitment to proactive and strategic Talent Advisory.

As a co-host and anchor of the TalentSavvy Podcast, he is talking monthly bases with global TA leaders about the trends, challenges, and best practices to share insights with like-minded people.

Matthias is also the Co-Founder of TA Crunch Berlin community that builds connections and fosters inclusion among TA professionals in Berlin.
