Sean is a talent leader who has working globally with some of the world’s largest brands over the past 25 years. Growing up in retail. Sean began walking through shoe departments to find talent to sell jewellery, because “if they can put a shoe on a foot, they can put a ring on a finger.” Over time, this moonlighting activity became a clear focus for his career. Sean is a builder at heart, and has opened/operated in many countries around the world Sean now is enjoying start up life, getting close to the work again.
Cody Schrotel, VP of Talent Acquisition at Collibra
Cody Schrotel is the VP Talent Acquisition at Collibra, responsible for global talent acquisition, employer brand, and people analytics. In this role, he’s helped Collibra scale from 150 to 1100+ employees, establish their employer value proposition, and build and refine a predictable, repeatable, and measured talent acquisition engine.
Prior to his role at Collibra, Cody served as an executive recruiter at Daversa Partners where he partnered with venture-backed companies to build out their management teams. His focus was go-to-market and engineering placements within b2b and b2c tech; notable clients include AppDynamics, Change Healthcare, Grubhub and FourSquare.
Cody graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Abigail Aikins, Talent Director at Talentful
